Ihor Markevych is the EIT Community Officer in Ukraine, with over a decade of experience in the tech and innovation sector. He serves as the primary liaison for EU-Ukraine collaboration and investment in technology and innovation. Recognized as the “Eurasian Ecosystem Hero 2023” by the Global Startup Awards for his efforts in ecosystem development, Ihor plays a pivotal role in driving the resilience and growth of Ukraine’s startup ecosystem.

He is the organizer of Ukraine’s largest tech event, IT Arena, as well as the regional finals of the Startup World Cup and the Tech Ecosystem Summit, which includes special awards.
