Objective:
Bringing together AI/ML engineers, researchers, and enthusiasts with great ideas, and giving teams the chance to transform their AI-based business ideas into profitable startups.
Format
We’re bringing together 40 participants for a 4-day intensive workshop focused on AI-based solutions, guided by top industry mentors, and leading up to project presentations on Demo Day in front of a panel. Participants will also have the chance to expand their teams, boost their creativity, and engage in self-development through various activities we’ve prepared.

What to expect?
- 4 days — 40 participants — 8 teams — 8 ideas
- Validated ideas: With expert feedback and recommendations, participants will refine their ideas, develop a market entry strategy, and build a strong network of advisors and potential investors
- Functional prototype: Teams will produce a working minimum viable product (MVP) or a polished demonstration of their idea
- Product and technical foundation: Participants will create a comprehensive product architecture, including software components, and define an optimized technical solution for scaling
- Investor-ready presentation: Teams will prepare and deliver presentations, showcasing their product on demo day, and receive valuable feedback from top industry experts
- Prize fund of $3,000 for the winners for startup development
We’ll take care of:

** You will need to cover your travel expenses to Kyiv if you are coming from outside the city.
*** For participants from other cities, we offer to cover 30% of the costs for shared rooms for 2 or 4 people at the Global Runner Hotel, located near the main venue.
People who will help you during the camp:
He is responsible for the strategy and development of Ukraine’s first cloud platform for machine learning. He serves as an advisor to the chairman (formerly Chief Product Officer) at Prozorro.Sale. Under his guidance, the platform has contributed approximately 90 billion UAH to budgets and was recognized as one of the best anti-corruption startups in the world in 2017. In 2022, the UN recognized it as the best public service globally. He has hands-on experience launching products from scratch in both the business and public sectors and building ecosystem solutions in the B2B, B2G, and B2B2C domains.
He teaches at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv at the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Cybernetics and has more than 10 years of CV/ML/DL experience. Bohdan worked at Samsung, and now he works at Squad on projects related to CV, such as solutions for cloud and embedded. He specializes in the following areas: CV/ML/DL, generative models, object detection, segmentation, pose estimation, NN optimization, depth estimation, and ML infrastructure.
With over 13 years in IT, he has spent 10 years as a C/C++/Golang developer, Team Lead, and Product Owner, along with 2 years in Tech Product Management. Currently, he holds the position of Head of R&D, combining both technical and product aspects. He has developed product prototypes using various tech stacks, including Java, .Net, Node, Angular, Vue, and C/C++/Golang. Additionally, he assists mil-tech projects in specific areas.
For over 6 years, he has been working in Data Science, with 3 of those years dedicated to a PhD program at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, deepening his academic experience. In recent years, Oleksandr has been actively studying and applying large language models in business while continuing to work on classical Data Science and Machine Learning tasks. Additionally, he is passionate about amateur sports, particularly running and orienteering, and he enjoys traveling around Ukraine, exploring its nature and culture.
Mariia has 6+ years of experience as a data scientist, focusing on creating business insights, measuring impact, and creating prioritization frameworks for projects. Mariia worked at big companies such as Stripe, as well as at startups <once, she even was an early employee at a travel startup in Myanmar>. She holds an MSc in mathematics from the University of Warwick and is a lecturer at the Kyiv School of Economics. She has a particular passion for med tech <and mental health in particular>.
Startup mentor, AI Consultant, Strategic Advisor for startup teams
Vladyslav enjoys Data Science, AI & ML, Clouds, Business Process Management, and Project Management. He prefers combining the technical and managerial roles to learn and improve in both areas. As a technical specialist, Vladyslav has a solid background in Data Science, AI & ML, Cloud Architecture, Data Architecture, and BPM. As an AI Consultant, he is focused on data analysis and processing, anomaly detection, clustering, similarity analysis, risk analysis, predictive algorithms, etc. Business education and experience, combined with technological expertise, allow him to understand the broad scope of problems and find the most efficient solutions for them.
Anna has 3 years of experience in VC investments, covering all the processes, starting from support in startup sourcing, full due diligence coverage, and tailored support for portfolio companies. Reviewed 400+ pitch decks and led due diligence in 5 portfolio companies. Focus on HealthTech. Selected investments: Alma, Rollstack, Yours, Vitract, Morado.

How it went
At AI Strartup Camp <Summer edition> we brought together over 40 ambitious AI enthusiasts and expert mentors for some seriously productive work. The level of focused effort, networking, and, of course, jokes was through the roof. Huge congratulations to the winning team, who developed an AI-powered system Hlyadach for shooting from a concealed position — a truly valuable startup in today’s world.

How to participate?
Step 1: Application Submission
- Fill out the registration form, which can be individual or team-based.
- One idea – one application.
- For team applications, the CEO or startup leader/initiator fills out the form.
Step 2: Brief Online Meeting
- After receiving your application, we will schedule a short 15-minute online meeting.
- During the meeting, you will meet the AI HOUSE team and one or more community experts.
Step 3: Internal Discussion and Decision
- After the online meeting, your application will be reviewed internally.
- Selection will be done gradually, and applicants will be notified of the results based on the timing of their application submission, but not sooner than 7 business days.
- One week before the project starts, all participants will be informed about the decision regarding their participation.

Is there a participation fee?
Yes and no. To join, a donation of at least 1000 UAH is required [50% goes towards operational costs of the event organization and 50% to the charity organization Reactive Post to support Ukrainian defenders].

Can I individually or as a team only?
You can do both. The optimal team structure is up to 5 members. Each team should include members with diverse skill sets, such as AI/ML expertise, data engineering, product management, and design.

When do I have to make a donation?
After your application is reviewed and you receive confirmation that you have been selected.

Does accommodation for participants from other cities covered?
For participants from other cities, we offer to cover 30% of the costs for shared rooms for 2 or 4 people at the Global Runner hotel, located near the main venue.

Can I participate remotely?
Unfortunately, no. For full interaction, you need to be present in Kyiv for all 4 days of the camp.

What are the selection criteria?
We will invite the participants with the most relevant motivation letters, experience and ideas. Good luck!

When is the registration deadline?

Can I participate if I’m interested in AI but have no technical knowledge?
Yes, you can. It would be great if the team consisted of multidisciplinary specialists, such as ML engineers, marketing specialists, project managers, etc., although basic knowledge in the field of AI is mandatory.
