Artificial intelligence is transforming the way we work, learn, and build new products. We believe everyone should have access to these opportunities.
UN Women AI School is a hands-on educational program designed for women who want to understand how AI works and start using it in their professional lives.
The program brings together participants from business, education, entrepreneurship, civil society, and many other fields. Regardless of their background, the focus is on applying AI to real-world tasks, automating workflows, and confidently using modern AI tools.
This program is for you if you:
- want to understand how artificial intelligence works;
- are looking to integrate AI into your work or personal projects;
- work in business, education, entrepreneurship, the public or nonprofit sector;
- are looking for practical, hands-on AI skills rather than theory.

Liza Yakniunas
Chief AI Officer at Havas Village Ukraine
Expert in generative artificial intelligence, business trainer, and marketing communications strategist. Lecturer and co-author of the Google "AI for Business" program, which supports entrepreneurs and teams in applying artificial intelligence to automate processes and improve work efficiency. She runs AI literacy trainings, writes about technology for Mind.ua and Happy Monday, and champions the "AI mindset" — the idea that artificial intelligence should feel like a normal part of your workday, not something complicated.
Anastasiia Shuplat
Senior Training Program Manager at Beetroot Academy
For over 10 years, Anastasiia has been building learning products in EdTech — and lately, her focus has shifted squarely to AI in education. She's a certified Google for Education trainer, an instructional designer, and a lecturer at Lviv Polytechnic, contributing to Google's "AI for Business" and "AI Academy for Educators" initiatives. She also develops programs at Beetroot Academy and works as a methodology expert on projects backed by UNICEF, UNDP, the Government of Japan, and UNight (Jägermeister).
Daria Senchikhina
AI Artist & Educator
Daria is a visual artist who made the leap from 13+ years in IT and creative agency sales to creating images with artificial intelligence. Over the past year and a half, she's grown into an AI creator and mentor, making content for brands like Guzema, Lamel, Roosh, Honey, Hedonic, Papaya, and the "Pryvit" restaurant chain. She teaches AI tool courses and speaks at KAMA, Laba, and SKVOT, showing how technology unlocks creative potential.
Dmytro Voitek
ML Lead at Mriia
Dmytro leads the AI direction at the Mriia project and advises Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Economy on artificial intelligence — pairing technical expertise with real impact at the state level. He also mentors young AI professionals on the Projector platform and supports the growth of Ukraine's AI community.
Iryna Subota
Project Manager in Countering Disinformation at CEDEM
For over 6 years, Iryna has worked across government, academia, and civil society, studying foreign interference and manipulation tactics — then turning that research into practical tools for fighting disinformation. She runs media literacy and fact-checking trainings.
Mariia Koroliuk
Research Fellow at LASR Labs
Mariia researches AI alignment — making AI behavior match human values — as part of LASR Labs, an AI safety research program. She brings over 10 years of Data Science experience from McKinsey, Stripe, and Lyft, and now focuses on large language models and how to reduce the risks of unwanted AI behavior.
Anita Yaryna
Head of Legal & Compliance at Spendbase, Co-Founder at 88 IP Legal Bureau
Lawyer specializing in technology and intellectual property — supporting IT products, working with AI, and protecting IP rights. She co-founded 88 IP Legal Bureau, lectures on NDAs and legal aspects of IT at DOU, and teaches "AI Ethics, Regulation & Responsible Use" at the Kyiv School of Economics, covering global approaches to AI regulation. She's also active in public discussions on AI regulation in Ukraine, including the Ministry of Digital Transformation's "White Paper" initiative.
Maksym Slobodianiuk

Founded MASC, a school and community that trains people in marketing automation — building no-code business systems with n8n, Zapier, and Make. He personally designs every program with practicality in mind: over 1,000 students have already gone through MASC and are now applying automation in their own work. He also runs DataBro, an agency that helps B2B companies optimize marketing and scale through automation and analytics.
Olha Kozub
AI & Robotics Legal Counsel at the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine
State expert at the Ministry of Digital Transformation, aligning Ukrainian law with European AI and robotics standards, including the EU AI Act. She develops practical guidelines for the public sector and legal professionals on safe, ethical AI use, and takes part in educational initiatives and public discussions shaping AI regulation in Ukraine.
Olga Diakova

Co-founded and runs the NGO Impact Force, bringing over 20 years of experience in strategic communications and reputation management to help drive change in societal and business models. She's also a co-founder and visionary of the David Lynch Foundation in Eastern Europe, focused on mental health and stress reduction through evidence-based practices.
Iryna Volnytska
President of SET University, Co-founder and CEO of IronCyber
Iryna founded SET University — Ukraine's first tech entrepreneurship university — and IronCyber, a startup that helps organizations rehearse real cyberattack scenarios and strengthen their resilience. She's a member of Ukraine's National Cybersecurity Competitions Committee and has spoken at Black Hat, Web Summit, and the International Cyber Expo.

Anna builds international partnerships and mobilizes resources for educational, humanitarian, and social impact projects at the Kyiv School of Economics Foundation. Maksym Valin
Co-Founder & Executive Director at AI-Experiment
Maksym co-founded AI-Experiment and consults for EPAM Systems on education. He trains at Ukraine's Training Center for Prosecutors, consults for the Council of Europe, and is a UA-AI member. He develops AI courses and automation solutions for education, business, and the public sector, blending technical expertise with hands-on implementation.
Vasyl Oryshchuk
AI and Digital Skills Trainer at Beetroot Academy
PhD and is a research fellow at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, as well as Founder & CEO of AI-Experiment, a Council of Europe consultant, and a UA-AI member. He builds educational programs that combine AI theory with hands-on practice, and as a trainer at Beetroot Academy, works with participants at every experience level to help them master AI tools and automation.
Mentors
Denys leads the student support team at MASC’s School of Automation, bringing 4+ years of experience in automation and technical support for AI education. He integrates AI into learning and work processes — for data analysis, research, and optimizing how people learn. He’s fluent with ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, NotebookLM, and automation platforms like Make, n8n, and Zapier.
Builds chatbots, AI agents, and automation solutions for sales and customer support. He designs and implements AI systems for real-world projects and runs his own AI lab to test and refine new ideas. Beyond the technical work, he mentors and teaches. He works with Claude API, OpenAI API, plus n8n, Supabase, Langfuse, Qdrant, Redis, and Docker.
Mykhailo builds no-code digital solutions — chatbots, automations, and internal systems for companies. He specializes in scalable automations that cut operational workload and boost efficiency, working with Make.com, Zapier, Airtable, ManyChat, Voiceflow, OpenAI, Gemini, and other AI and no-code tools.
Oksana has spent 4.5+ years building scalable digital systems as a Full-Stack developer at fintech company NovaPay. Alongside her job, she’s studying Machine Learning and Cloud at SET University, diving deeper into AI systems while developing her own AI/ML projects and exploring practical use cases.
Volodymyr completed an advanced program at MASC School and now implements AI solutions and automates workflows using n8n, Make, Zapier, OpenAI API, Claude AI, Airtable, GoHighLevel, and ManyChat. He’s already delivered 25+ commercial projects that help businesses cut significant time off routine tasks.

Who organizes the program?
The initiative is implemented within the “EU for Gender Equality: Together Against Gender Stereotypes and Gender-Based Violence” programme, funded by the European Union and jointly implemented by UN Women, UNFPA, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, and AI HOUSE.

Applications are reviewed by the program team, and all applicants receive the results via email after the application period ends.
