Dr. Kai-Fu Lee has spent more than three decades at the cutting edge of artificial intelligence research, development, and investment in both the US and China. He’s the chairman and CEO of Sinovation Ventures, a leading venture capital firm focused on developing the next generation of Chinese high-tech companies.

Dr. Lee is the author of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-seller AI Superpowers. His latest book AI2041: Ten Visions for Our Future presents a roadmap to educate and explore the opportunities and challenges presented by AI over the coming decades.

Volodymyr Kuleshov
Volodymyr Kuleshov

Professor at Cornell & Cornell Tech, Co-Founder and Chief Technologist at Afresh

Volodymyr Kuleshov is an Assistant Professor at the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute at Cornell Tech and in the Computer Science Department at Cornell University. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from McGill University and his PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University, where he was the recipient of the Arthur Samuel Best Thesis Award.

Kuleshov’s research interests are machine learning and its applications in scientific discovery, health, and sustainability. His work has been featured in Nature Biotechnology, Nature Medicine, Nature Communications, and Scientific American, and he was awarded an NSERC Post-Graduate Fellowship and a Stanford Graduate Fellowship.

He is the co-founder and Chief Technologist at Afresh, a startup focused on automating the food supply chain using AI to reduce food waste.

Alberto also holds a PhD in Emotion AI (Information and Communications Technologies) and is a board member and an advisor in multiple companies and institutions including the European Commission (Horizon 2020, Future and Emerging Technologies).

Mykola Maksymenko
Mykola Maksymenko

R&D Director at SoftServe

Mykola Maksymenko is the Research and Development Director at SoftServe Inc., where he drives technological development and research in applied science and AI, human–computer interaction, and sensing.

Mykola holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics and his academic research experience includes a number of graduate internships at the Universities of Magdeburg and Goettingen, funded by german funding bodies such as DAAD and DPG, with further postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems (Germany) and Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel).

Lauren Romeo is the Chief Data Officer at AXA Madrid International Hub (AMIH). She has over a decade of experience in the delivery of high impact data-driven solutions that solve real-world business challenges and shaping strategy to operationalize AI solutions.

Lauren was also an active player in the startup ecosystem, where she oversaw and contributed to the research and development of core AI products. She has a proven-track record in data science and analytics with a PhD in Computational Linguistics and a MSc in Cognitive systems and Interactive Media.

Stanislas Coppin

Co-founder & CEO at Powder

Stanislas is the CEO of Powder. He co-founded Mindie (2013-2016), the first app with a vertical video feed with a music camera — a format replicated by Musical.ly and TikTok, which went on to become one of the most influential mobile formats ever. Mindie raised $1.2m and was downloaded 1m+ times. Later Stanislas was the Chief Product Officer at FitHouse (2016-2018).

Barthélémy is the COO of Powder. Formerly a consultant at BCG, he was in the founding team of Hello Tomorrow (2013-2015), a deep tech startup competition based in Paris, before co-founding Artomatix (2015-2018) — a startup building an AI that automates 3D content creation for gaming. Artomatix was acquired by Unity, a game engine, in 2020.

Liam Schoneveld

Principal AI Engineer at Powder

Liam co-leads Powder’s AI team. He is in charge of researching and designing the machine learning infrastructure that enables us to automatically source and understand great video content from all gaming platforms. Pivoting off his prior work experience in econometrics, Liam graduated with an MSc in AI from the University of Amsterdam in 2017.

Since then, Liam has focused almost exclusively on applying cutting edge deep learning and computer vision research to real-world problems. While at Powder, Liam has published two papers in the field of emotion recognition. His current focus is on self-supervised learning, and in applying recent advances in the sub-field to improve Powder’s video understanding technology.

Henri Mirande
Henri Mirande

Co-Founder & CTO at Kinetix.tech

Henri graduated from Centrale Engineering school a few years ago where he specialized in Deep Learning and statistical modeling.

Later on Henri did some research in Deep Learning applied to 3D, first of all in Dynamixyz where he used AI to denoise and generate facial animation and then in Dassault Systems to generate 3D structures from images or drawings of them.

Being passionate about 3D and gaming, he then realized with his co-founder Yassine Tahi that the recent breakthroughs in deep learning could help all the 3D creators to use character animation in their universes.

    This conference is designed for business owners and entrepreneurs, C-level executives and Heads of AI and ML, as well as specialists and engineers willing to unlock the power of AI for their companies and utilize the latest technology achievements.

    Our conference is for AI professionals only. It won’t be a perfect fit for recruiting specialists looking for AI talents because we do not provide a job fair format due to the limited capacity of the conference venue and a limited number of seats. We also respect the privacy of our attendees.
